Braden Rubey
Director of Competition
Braden Rubey is an avid outdoor enthusiast with a diverse background in athletics that has shaped his entire life. His current passion lies in cycling, allowing him to merge his love for fitness with the joy of experiencing the great outdoors.
In 2017, he hosted and ran the first annual NTX Classic at his home gym, Unicus Athletics in Argyle, Texas. His goal was to bring a high-quality, well-run functional fitness competition to the North Texas region. What started as a grassroots local competition has now grown into Saddle Up Promotions hosting multiple competitions each year that attract competitors from across the country who come to test their fitness.
With the goal of positively impacting lives through healthy competition, Braden believes we can honor God through our efforts and express gratitude by giving our all on the competition floor while uplifting fellow competitors. His mission is driven by a commitment to honesty, authenticity, and integrity. He believes that how you do anything is how you do everything, so if you're going to do something, you might as well give it your all!
His perspective on life shifted dramatically when he was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma at age 35, reinforcing the importance of cherishing every moment and living life to the fullest.
As the Director of Competition for Saddle Up Promotions, his aspirations are centered on making a meaningful impact in as many lives as possible. He aims to build a culture within the fitness community that emphasizes hard work, full effort, and gratitude while honoring God in all things.

Jordan Harr
Director of Development
Jordan Harr is a Level 2 CrossFit coach, a certified Level 1 Olympic Lifting Coach through USA Weightlifting (USAW), and is currently pursuing his Sports Nutrition Certification. A lifelong athlete, Jordan played football at Harding University on a scholarship as an outside linebacker. After football, he focused on his career, eventually reaching upper management, but struggled with taking care of his physical body, gaining weight and hitting a very unhealthy 320 lbs. In 2011 Jordan discovered CrossFit and quickly became hooked! The combination of fitness and community sparked a transformation, leading him to earn his CrossFit Level 1 certification in 2016 and start coaching. In 2021, with the support of his wife, Hallie, he opened Kainos Community CrossFit. As head coach, Jordan is passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals.
Over the last several years Jordan has enjoyed fitness events as a competitor and now, through Saddle Up Promotions, he gets to be on the event creation side by bringing high quality fitness competitions to North Texas!
